Today we are going to talk about the web-related settings that are used to redirect the root domain to www.abcdefg.com address format. I am creating this article is in the case study of the previous issues that I faced.
Here I am using google domain to demonstrate this article and we also can use the same settings for other domains.
Issue – I failed to browse the URL https://thewantricks.com and some web browsers reject to resolve the address
Solution - Redirect the root domain to www format.
How to redirect the URL..?
Step 1 – Browse Google Domain and Click My Domains
Step 2 – Navigate to DNS management of the domain and find the Synthetic records
Step 3 – Select the Subdomain forward from the Synthetic records and configure the settings as per below

Destination URL - www.thewantricks.com
Change Temporary Redirect (302) to Permanent Redirect (301)
Change Do not forward path to Forward Path
Leave the SSL option as default
We have configured the 301 redirect settings successfully and now able to browse both
