What is Cloud Computing?
Today we are going to discuss the most trending Cloud Computing technology.
We can say that simply cloud computing is a delivery of computing
service or IT resources over the internet. The main advantage of this
technology is, the user/company can take the computer service or resources as
rent instead of purchasing or maintaining the physical servers or data centre equipment’s
so that the company/user can save lots of funds.
Benefits of Cloud Computing
Cost Savings: Cloud Technology allows us to hire service
and pay only for use. Also, Cloud Computing eliminates the investments of hardware
purchase and hardware maintaining cost.
Availability: Almost all service providers are giving the services in many locations in the globe so User can select the region which they want.
Elasticity: This helps the Users can calculate the
present usage and hire the infrastructure only for that and pay the amount.
Also, it can upgrade the service in the future if required without any service interruptions.
Security: The service providers always developing and
implementing the latest technologies, policies for avoiding the risk factors.
This will help us to secure our valuable data from hackers.
Easy Deploy: Another advantage is the easy deployment,
the cloud helps the user to deploy the application or services globally without
any additional setup so can avoid wasting time.
Types of Cloud Computing and Cloud
Services
There are 3 types of Cloud Computing and Cloud Services currently have.
Cloud Computing
Public Cloud: This types of clouds are owned by different
IT Service Providers like Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
Private Cloud: Many companies using their own cloud setup
for different purposes like software development, deployments and data storage.
Hybrid Cloud: This is a combination of Public and Private
Cloud for data sharing and deployment.
Cloud Services
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): The cloud providers giving us services like Server, Virtual Machine,
Storage, Operating Systems and Networks on rental basics. This is the basic
category and most used service for web hosting as well as for development
purposes.
Platform as a service (PaaS): The cloud providers deliver the environment for developing, testing,
delivering, and managing software applications. This helps the Developer to
easily design and build WebApp, Mobile App, etc. very quickly, and the User no
need to manage any devices like servers, network, and storage.
Software as a Service (SaaS): The cloud providers deliver already developed applications to the
Customer over the internet. The Customer can use this application through the
Web browser, Mobile, or Tab. The billing method is generally like Annual or Monthly
subscription-based. An example is G Suite, Office 365 etc.

Conclusion
The above are some basic points of Cloud Computing. As we know that
currently, most companies choosing Cloud-based services instead of purchasing
devices physically. We discussed that in the Cloud Computing advantage section.
