Workstation is a hypervisor or software that
support to create multiple virtual machines. It supports x64 Windows and Linux
versions and the ability enables the Users to run many virtual machines in a
physical machine for development or a testing purposes as well as use
simultaneously.
The VMware Workstation supports to install Operating
Systems like Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, Hackintosh, Mac, etc.

Operating Systems or BSD in VMware Workstation
I had already downloaded and installed VMware
Workstation trial version in my Laptop.

Step 1 – Open VMware Workstation
Step 2 – Create a New Virtual MachineStep 3 – Click ‘Typical (recommended)’
Step 5 – Choose the VM template from the options such as Windows, Linux, etc
Step 6 – Type the Virtual Machine name and set the
installation path
Step 7 – Configure HDD sizeStep 8 – Review or customize the hardware settings and click Finish
Step 9 – The VM created successfully
Step 10 – Click the VM from Library
Step 11 – Edit CD/DVD (IDE) & change setting
as below, also browse the installation media or ISO
Step 12 – Power on the VM for staring the
Installation
Step 13 – The installation begins and can install

Windows 10 VM had created in VMware Workstation. We are now able to use the OS (like
a physical system). Also, we can install all kinds of operating systems in the
same method. The advanced configurations like virtual networking will
discuss soon.
